The Well Being Project will design and implement a program tailor-made to meet the needs of any group or organisation

Wellbeing Workshop Topic Options

  1. Four Sessions (Units) of 1 hour 45 min each. (9.00 am – 5.00 pm. 2 x 15 min breaks, plus 30 min for lunch)

  2. An additional two sessions (Units) in the evening of 1hour 30 min. each (6.15 pm – 9.30 pm, plus 15 min break)

  3. Eight sessions (Units) over two days (finish both Sat & Sun at 5.00 pm)

  4. Ten sessions (Units) over two days (finish Sat at 9.30 pm,  Sun. at 5.00 pm)

  5. Twelve sessions (Units) over two days, one month apart.

Units (a unit is a segment of information and experiential processes – 1hr 30 – 1hr 45 in length)   

Cultivating the attributes of resilience to stress: 
 

self-acceptance, 

personal autonomy, 

environmental mastery, 

satisfying relations with others, 

personal growth commitment, and 

life-purpose. 

 

Looking after ourselves in these life dimensions: 
 

Physiological (our body and biochemistry) 

Cognitive (our thoughts and beliefs) 

Emotional (our feelings and sensations) 

Behavioural (our actions, what we do, and what we avoid doing) 

Relational (our social context) 

Spiritual (meaning & values) 

 

Strategic approaches for self-support: 
 

Identifying faulty cognitive styles; Using affirmations 

Formal Problem Solving Skills 

Anger management approaches 

Assertiveness skills  

Stress Management: ( incl. hypnotherapy, relaxation techniques; Tai Chi; Qi Gong; Traditional Meditation) 

Recuperative Sleep 

Resolving the Past 

Overcoming guilt and resentment 

Relationship Enhancement 

Parenting Skills & Family Management 

Cognitive/Behavioural Strategies, Using affirmations 

Problem Solving Skills

Anger management approaches

Communication and Assertiveness skills

Each of these areas constitutes a unit of information and workshop processes and experiences.  As the approach of the workshops is integrative, additional experiences such as art therapy exercises, guided visualisations, parables, hypnotherapeutic inductions and gestalt processes are incorporated in each unit. Follow-up homework tasks are set. Within the time limitations of any program, the aim is to give participants a broad range of experiences and a set of self-help skills and strategies for ongoing self-support.

Workshop Fees

$154.00 per unit (one facilitator – up to 15 participants) Minimum of four units.$264.00 per unit (two facilitators – up to 30 participants). Courses may be held at your premises or at The Well Being Project premises Unit 3, “Woolloongabba Gardens” 9 Hubert Street, Woolloongabba.
